About lemArts
I'm a guy in my 30's who loves to get away from it all and escape into the hills. I live and work near Seattle, WA. I mostly just do day hikes when my life allows it plus an occasional backpacking trip.
I originally created this website to share my adventures with friends and family who still live in some very flat parts of the world. Since then, however, I have been surprised and humbled to learn that other local hikers have discovered my site (among many better sources such as WTA.org) and have used some of the information in planning their own trips.
I don't consider myself to be a pro at any of this. Therefore, use of any information you find here is at your own risk. Please do not go hiking (even short hikes) without "the 10 essentials". Google it.
